“ There's a Japanese convenience store in there! They have a Panera bread style of ordering. You order at a counter and you pick up in their restaurant part of the store. Didn't know that and I gave a tip before ordering. I ordered the shio tonkotsu ramen. The noodles are different from what I usually have at other ramen places. This felt more like what a home-cooked ramen would be like, I think. ”
“ Amazing authentic Japanese comfort food in our neighborhood. Food was good. Order from the store side, seated yourself, wait for the food to be called, then serve yourself and enjoy. Once done, return all items to the counter. ”
“ Ramen Musashu boasts two locations, including one conveniently situated in Scarsdale near a Japanese food mart. This unpretentious eatery is celebrated for its flavorful ramen and donburi offerings. The Pork Katsudon is a standout, served steaming hot with perfectly marinated pork cutlet and silky, smooth egg. The Miso Tonkotsu Ramen features a rich, creamy pork bone broth, topped with classic ingredients like corn, bamboo shoots, and green onion. The medium-thin noodles are cooked al dente, delivering the perfect balance of texture and taste. Another must-try is the chicken karaage, with large, juicy pieces seasoned with a touch of white pepper spice. Ramen and donburi come in three portion sizes: small (great for kids or light eaters), regular (satisfying for most), and large (ideal for hearty appetites). Complemented by free tap water, Ramen Musashu combines excellent flavors, hearty portions, and great value. It’s a must-visit destination whenever you’re nearby and craving delicious ramen. ”
“ Came here today for lunch, enjoyed everything there. The store entry itself is a little packed due to covid dividers, but once you're at the front you can place your order with the VERY friendly staff. There also isn't any menu for you to look at while in line (there is a small menu on the right side of the entrance but it's easy to miss), so keep that in mind as you'll have access to the menu once you reach the front desk. We ordered a katsu curry and a vegan miso ramen with two bubble teas, coming out to about 40 dollars all together, not bad. Food came out faster than the drinks which is the first time that's ever happened to me. Portions were good and the quality of the food was amazing. I would come back here every day if I could. The chicken katsu curry was some of the most lightly crisp savory cuts I've ever had, better than most places I've tried in Manhattan. The curry sauce really compliments the dish, some of the best I've tried. My GF got a vegan miso ramen and loved it as well, as far as I can tell it was equally high quality. They also have a loyalty card in case you come back often (which I plan on doing when possible) and there's also a Japanese grocery store attached, where you can find Japanese spices, snacks, and drinks. Do not miss your opportunity to go here. ”
“ Been coming here for about 8 years now. Ramen is always Amazing. Haven’t had a better ramen than this. A must stop ”
“ It's a really nice place. it's also really cramped, but it doesn't disappoint how organized most stuff are. The Chicken Katsu Curry was really good. The rice is soft and amazingly cooked, the curry was flavorful with carrots, and the chicken katsu was crunchy and flavorful. The price of the whole meal was honestly worth it for the quality of it. ”
“ Ramen Musashi is a hidden gem tucked inside Maruichi Japanese Food & Deli—you order at the deli counter and walk through a doorway into a dining area. We ordered the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and a can of original milk tea (made in Hawaii). The milk tea leans more tea-forward than milky, which actually worked perfectly alongside the rich ramen broth to balance the flavors and cut the oiliness. The ramen itself was fantastic. The broth had a deep, savory flavor, just the right amount of oil to make it satisfying without being heavy. The noodles had that firm, Kansui bite I love—chewy and springy, exactly how ramen should be. Toppings were fresh too—the bamboo shoots especially stood out, and the shoyu added a nice thin salty layer without overwhelming the dish. Overall a well executed bowl of ramen (which is not easy already) with no surprises. The space is casual but warm, and the adjacent Japanese grocery and deli adds to the authenticity and charm. Definitely one of my new go-to ramen spots on Long Island. ”
“ I searched for a local ramen curry place near me because traveling into the city whenever you want some food isn’t always ideal. I was happy to have wandered into this place. It’s difficult to find a place that makes the curry the way my kids and I like it and this place nailed it. I ordered us the Chicken Katsu Curry (mild) for us. We were provided with great sized plates at a great price and great quality food. I think I can agree with most people where maybe the store itself can use a bit of a polish. As a person that’s used to walking into small shops and stores, it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall, great place and will definitely return to try different plates. ”
